I'll be the first to tell you that Maddie can be a stinker sometimes. But she can also be oh, so sweet. This is true especially when it comes to her sister and being a helper. Today she was especially kind and helpful. But the best part about today happened a few minutes ago after I put her to bed. Last night when I was lying with her (one of us always does for a couple minutes before we leave her room) she said something about being scared. I reminded her that she can always pray if she's scared and God will hear her. Tonight when I got downstairs after our little ritual, I turned on the monitor to hear,
"and help me not to be scared, Lord. Be-tect [protect] me. And don't let me be scared. In Jesus' name, Amen."
I'm very thankful that the Lord blesses us with these little moments.
